«Kazan Medical Instruments Plant» JSC, considered to be founded in 1931 – is one of the largest medical instrumental enterprises in Russia, which produces more than 3000 kinds of medical instruments and in the field of precision mechanics produces more than 90% profile articles in the country, including:

1. Dental instruments (steel, hard-alloy, diamond tooth burs, heads, mills, endocanal instruments and sets, micropneumatic and microelectric motors for handpieces, handpieces, the superfast turbine technics, including with fiber optics, compressors, drills);
2. Instruments for general surgery (surgical needles, edges for a scalpel);
3. Microsurgical instruments and sets (microsurgical forceps, needle holders, scissors for work under a microscope);
4. Polymeric instruments and products for urology, gynecology, laboratory and diagnostic equipment and others.

The combination of the nomenclature wide range, experiences, saved up scientific potential and unique technology makes the plant a unique enterprise in medical industry.

The dynamical increase of «Kazan Medical Instruments Plant», JSC products’ presence in the market is achieved by quality of production and customer service improving. Nowadays there are more than 30 service centers operating in various regions of Russia and the CIS.

Plant products are bought by more than 3500 customers in Russia, and the CIS, Baltic States, the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Israel, Egypt, Greece, Australia, South Korea, China etc.

One of the first in Russia KMIP JSC has passed the certification of quality management system according to a new international standard ISO 13485:2008 and compliance of more than 1000 products to the Directive 93/42 EEC, which entitles the CE mark to these products, and is free entry to EU countries without requiring additional certification.

«Kazan Medical Instruments Plant» was awarded diplomas of international exhibitions and fairs in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Athens, Cyprus, Istanbul, Dusseldorf, Cologne and San Francisco, has international awards «Best trademark», «For Commercial Prestige », the Prizes of the Russian Government. This opens new perspectives for the export of «KMIP» JSC products to foreign countries.

It's no secret that medical instruments, along with doctors’ qualification, play a key role in achieving the desired quality of treatment. Apparent trend in today's medical market has been a dramatic increase of requirements for the basic parameters of the equipment and instruments, such as reliability, atravmatic and ergonomics. Harmonization of industrial capacity, design and technological solutions to these requirements is the dominant policy of «KMIZ» JSC development in the present and future.
